Overview

The purpose of this book is to educate you on the steps you need to take when incorporating the Arabic language in your design work. Graphic design in the Middle East has only recently become recognized as a profitable industry. This has led to a shortage of resources on the topic thus making it difficult to best utilize this complicated language in design work.

More and more Middle Eastern universities have begun to add graphic design courses. This shows that the coming decades will invite improvements and modernization in design. As the world grows more reliant on technology, the need for suitable design grows higher in third world countries. The Middle East is far behind the West in the design workforce—preventing the evolution and improvement of Arabic design techniques. The number of available resources on English design techniques are infinite, whereas searching for Arabic design resources is much more limited (especially for Arab-Americans)
